Hawaiiian Airlines has made the decision to outsource its reservation call center. This will affect about 200 employees. Aloha Airlines officials state that the airline has no plans to move its call from Hawaii.

Phasing out U.S. based call centers has been an industry trend for years. This has given rise to a outsource call center industry in the Philippines.

Go! Airlines has launched go!Express under a codeshare agreement with Mokulele Airlines.

Effective April 16, go!Express will operate 12 daily flights between Kona and Kahului; Kahului and Kapalua; and Kapalua and Honolulu using new Cessna aircraft.
