THE DOUBLETREE ALANA HOTEL in Waikiki completed a $2.9 million renovation that transformed all 45 suites and 268 guest rooms. Deep green and burgundy colors are paired with soft natural woods to invoke an old Hawaiiana ambiance. Carpets, wallpaper, curtains, furniture and televisions are all new.
