The Great Whale Count

Count the whales that can be seen from Maui's shorelines and lookout points with whale researchers and other volunteers from across the country! Volunteer for this annual count. Pacific Whale Foundation's researchers will provide the training and tools. Count is from 8 a.m. until noon. To volunteer, call 1-800-942-5311. From Maui, call 249-8811. International Festival of Canoes
Over two weeks, master canoe-carvers gather in Lahaina to transform logs into canoes. Other events include entertainment and cultural demonstrations.

14th ANNUAL KI HOALU / SLACK KEY GUITAR FESTIVAL
